extremely inexpensive way to experience the flora and fauna that Monterrey offers. acres of amazing un-touched greenery and majestic mountain streams lend breath-taking views of the area. be prepared to pack your walking shoes and comfortable clothing.

I really loved this place. I have been to Monterrey over 30 times and I this is one of the best if you like a nature hike. There was even a lower path you can take by the river. Eventually, it disappears, but if you follow it long enough, there are ropes, bridges, ladders, and rocks you can use to climb your way to a somewhat secret location.

There is a nice hiking trail. The place is well preserved and provides a good preview to the forests of the Sierra Madre Oriental.

Located in the outskirts of Monterrey it serves as a good spot for a good morning walk/run.

My children and I walked the 3 kilometer trail through the park and were amazed at how beautiful it is. The park attendant even showed us fossiles on the rock wall. After our walk we were shown down to the river where we were able to cool off. This park is so beautiful and a pleasant experience if you love nature. You will see many species of butterflies, birds and plants including bamboo.

I liked the nature feeling in my lungs, head and body. It's cool, because you are in complete wild, but still knowing that there's a full city and all the comfort of a hotel waiting for you....lol
