if you visit monterrey, you must definitely visit the macroplaza. a melting pot of mexican diversity, it is filled to the brim with cultural atmosphere. the shops and sights blend old traditions easily with the new.

If you want to do a few things and no have money, go to "macroplaza".. museums are great there, for all ages, and now with the new "paseo de santa lucia" I´m thinking going again.
the gran plaza is a great place to go with your family. but at night is so romantic just going with your boyfriend or the person you love. is great for shopping and to relax
there is alot of people walking,cuples getting together u feel like there's no worries u just feel happy well this was my expirance i hope u all like it great
The Macroplaza is a fun place to walk and see. It is nice to see the old buildings along with new modern buildings. It is only a couple of blocks from the state capital buildings. I've taken hundreds of people to visit this area!

Nothing worth seeing except the museums and the cathedral. The area is surrounded by awful grey building hosting an army of bureaucrats.

We truly enjoyed walking through the Macroplaza in Monterrey. It actually appears to be a series of small plazas that run for several blocks, with cross sreets running under the green plazas above.
