I loved el barrio antiguo, especially because this is where I met my husband, Hugo. The ambience is so young and hip that it asks nothing from other major cities. It's true you can find all kinds of music and venues to suit your likes. I highly recommend you hit all the bars on any given night and beware there is alot of eye candy everywhere. I love my Regiomontanos!!

I would recommend going to Dragonfly, Bar-rio, or Koko-loko for a nightclub type place. Cafe Iguana is a good rock bar, and they also have an area for electronic music.

HIT ALL THE CLUBZ, ONE OF THE BEST NIGHT SPOTS I HAVE EVER GONE TOO. RESMBLES VERY CLOSE TO THE SUNSET STRIP BUT WITH OUT THE CARS.

I love it all! The best bars and clubs in Mexico next to the ones in Cancun! Try "La Puerta" or Bar~Rio, or Tabu and Arcoiris but those aren't in downtown!

What more can you ask for?? A bunch of clubs.. OPEN BAR in some.. LADIES NO COVER in others... Lines get long, but they move quickly.. The only thing i didnt like was that some clubs required a reservation if you want to get in before 1 AM..(hint for the ladies: just sweet talk the bouncer and he'll let you in..) We liked it so much, we're going back in a few weeks!

Everyone is always treating you good. Perfect atmosphere and good music any beverages is really cheap. Most of the time there is no cover and 1x2 drinks cute guys and girls everiwhere. Is an awesome place to be.
