Warm service. Owner goes out of his way to ensure guests have an enjoyable time. At a crossroads in town good for viewing Malacca and mingling with those about town. The owner even held onto my glasses for a month after I left them there on my first trip through.

I have become a "regular" at the Discovery as I have visited Malacca 4 times in the last year. Mr Teng, the owner, is one of the friendliest mine host I have met in world travel but he is not intrusive. Amazing place, good food, very friendly staff, good atmosphere. With complete libary for travellers. There are travellers that like it so much that they stay for a long long time.

Went to Malacca with 5 other friends. Stumbled upon this cafe by chance. Chatted with Uncle Steven there. Very friendly/helpful guy, even brought us up to the roof for photo taking. Really glad to have met him during our trip. Definitely would re-visit Discovery Cafe if I go back to Malacca. A really nice cafe. Hope that Uncle Steven could see this review.
