This restaurant came highly recommended, and we were glad we listened as everything that we ordered was very delicious! From the oh-so-flavorful clams with garlic and olive oil, to the tender and juicy Char-grilled King Prawns, to the creamy serradura dessert. Other restaurant specialties include the oxtail stew, codfish in creamy sauce, Portuguese ...

Their telephone number
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/04/08
Please note that Macau has changed their phone number system and please add "28" in front of the numbers. So for A Lorcha, it's now +853-2831-3193. Just took me 15mins to figure out this information.

authentic portuguese food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/08
I have been there many times and it is one of my Macau favorites. Try the Octopus Salad for starter and the Bacalau for main course.
We took the ferry over from Hong Kong and chose this restaurant for our company annual dinner. There were 20 of us and, without fail, all 20 agreed that the food was amazing. I'm not a big Portugese food fan but even I enjoyed it immensely. Worth going back again.

A never-ending chowdown
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/08
The place was terrific! I like the food here, especially the clams with the garlic bread, ohhh, it's really superb! What I don't like about the place is that, it closes down at noontime, wherein ...

A "must" visit restaurant in Macau
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/07/07
The seafood is just delicious, especially the pan fried calms with garlic......it's definitely a "must" restaurant if you are looking for good Portugese food. Making advance reservation is very important, do not even think of walking-in.

A local recommended it and I'm glad they did
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/02/05
This was the best Portuguese food I has in Macau. The menu is authentic and has a decent wine list (from Portugal of course) to match the foods. Prices are reasonable and the food very good. Don't be safe when ordering...try something you have never had before. The chefs are very good and did not disappoint me on my numerous visits.
