Booby CaySpent a couple of afternoons at Booby Cay with one of the locals who we met on the beach at our resort, Riu Negril. We traveled in his boat, about a ten minute ride. He caught and cooked lobsters for us while we snorkeled and just relaxed on the beach. If you are in Negril you must arrange to visit Booby.8 of 8 Yahoo! Our TripI couldn't believe when I saw this small island listed on this site. I thought it was just something that the islander's were aware of and I was excited to go. This island which is a stones throw from the beach of Negril, closest to Hedonism II and Sandals. While staying at Sandals, one of the excursions during the day was to Booby Cay ...4 of 4 Yahoo! Very relaxingI lived in Jamaica for the summer, and when I had the day off work i often sailed to Booby Cay. It's a great place to go and get away. The west side of the island is covered in small seashells, so we gathered seashells often. Also, sometimes there are a couple of locals there that cook fresh caught lobster.
