The square is beautiful. It is ideal for a short break during sightseeing or shopping, in one of the coffee shops with seating in the open air. Just be careful with the waiters/waitresses, as they tend to be hectic and consequently rude to the tourists.

breathtaking...from the moment you walk into it until you can't strain your neck anymore to look at it as you walk away...definitely a must-see!! if you can get a local to tell you about it, because the locals know everything about everything about their town, it's even better. drink some wine or coffee, go for a passeggiata and enjoy life for a while on a scenic picture by the Adriatic Sea...
