This was our first trip to Ireland and we had heard that the Darcy had excellent food and based on your reviews also had great accomodations. The food was excellent; however, the accomodations were horrible. The rooms were large but dirty, carpet was old with many, many stains. Just a very bad experience.

Had Dinner in this Great Seafood Restaurant on a wednesday night when they have a Lobster night. Whole Lobster was only 29 Euro and the whole menu featured lobster Specials .Our Dinner was Fantastic.

We visited last year on the May Bank Holiday while staying at The Park Hotel and went back again this year to see Georgina who is 'simply the Best'Great fresh fish and even better new menu. The Best Seafood Restaurant in Ireland.

We ate here on the May bank holiday weekend on the basis of having heard good things in the past and because the Lime Tree was booked out. We were very disappointed as overall it was simply average. D'Arcy's made our new year visit to Ireland a memory we will treasure, especially the way they got the whole restaurant up singing at midnight.
Georgina is a super host and John's food was excellent.

Darcys is well worth a visit whilst in Kenmare. Georgina and her able assistant Celine are diligent and courteous and provide a subtle ,smooth and under stated service. I had my birthday dinner there recently and my partner and I enjoyed this and a previous visit immensly. The turbot and lobster are excellent cuisine and value.
We will definitely be back when on vacation in Kenmare

D'Arcys is quaint and lovely and during my stay I loved the rooms, they were modern, clean and elegant. It was perfect!!! I really loved the hosts too, they were so friendly and made the effort to talk to you, which was lovely.

Thanks D'Arcys for a great few nights in August and I look forward to my stay in December this year.
