Very peaceful.I enjoyed my trip to Guatemala. Tips on a great vacation: First, search for a good Hotel. Second: Make a list of the most popular places and have fun and relaxxxx.

Do your homework before you goMixco Viejo is a beautiful Mayan site located about 1.5 hours outside of Guatemala City. The admission charged to foreigners is Q25 (or roughly $3.33) per person and the roads to get there are good, although there is no directional signage until you are fairly close to your destination. The Ruins of Mixco ViejoIt is hard to describe the beauty of these important ruins.The preservation of the ruins helps to imagine how these people may have lived.The surrounding mountains and valleys have to be seen to be appreciated.The ruins require a moderate hike and take about an hour to view.
