I go once or twice a year to Heidelberg, would never miss my hike up to the Philosophenweg and back down the Schlangenweg to the old bridge and the "Alt Stadt". Some times we even go further up to the Heiligenberg. You must try the Philosophenweg on a sunday morning around 10 or 11 AM it is incredible. All churches down in Heidelberg will chime to greed you. It is my most favored spot in the world.

It is a hike up the hill but the view is absolutely gorgeous!!! One of my most favorite places on earth.
