  • An enjoyable visit

    I spent some time here on a recent visit and had lunch on a Saturday afternoon in one of the cafes. All was fine and peaceful until the bells from every local church started ringing all at once for over an hour! It got to be a bit much after a while. I would go back, but I would go Saturday morning or on Sunday.

  • Ugly Architecture

    This is some of the UGLIEST architecture I have seen in all of Germany. I realize the area was bombed out by the RAF and the Americans during WWII, but couldn't they have done a better job of rebuilding? The materials look cheap.

    Lately, anti American or at the very least, anti President George Bush rallys are held there. The atmosphere is definitely not pro American.

    The Christmas fair is OK - not even great.
