I'm a Frankfurter living in USA for 34 years.I go home every other year. I love to go to Palmengarten all my life. I find it very peaceful to walk around and admire the beautyful flowers and plants, and listen to the orchestra that plays sometimes in the pavillion. So,everytime I go home my mother and I will hang out in Palmengarten all day

Good Afternoon Overall

Great = The walk through the huge rock tunnel puts you through to another world. A wonderful lake with azaleas and black swans. Hard to remember you're in the middle of the city, which really goes away easily. Also, the most beautiful wisteria I've ever seen. Not so great = The shabbier areas are somewhat reminiscient of Eastern Europe institutionalism. Foggy, dirty, glass on Bauhaus style. But overall, well worth an afternoon.
Great hotel, close to the gardena, beautiful, do not fail to visit the Palmen Garten. Close to the American Embassy-Consulate. Take a stroll around the neighborhood, eat at one of the local restaurants, you will enjoy your stay at this out of the way, quiet hotel with real professional guest service.
