This small castle is easy to tour and filled with interesting stories. The gardens surrounding the castle make for a pleasant walk and have lots of nooks and cranies to explore. Afterwards one should roundout the afternoon with coffee and cake at the old coach house turned cafe or at the Rheinterrase along the river.

Schloss Benrath

My family and I visited Schloss Benrath in April 1998. It's very lovely with all its fine plaster work and marble floors. Take your time walking through it's many gardens, the English garden was my favorite.
