Düsseldorf is very popular for the Altstadt. You can have a lot of fun in many Bars, Restaurants and Discos. :-) Every day, especially in summer it's always crowded. My favourite place is the "Rheinpromenade" next to the Rhine river. You can see the Rheintower with it's special lights. Very beautiful.

I'm from Duesseldorf and I can only recommend you to visit the Altstadt. There's so much to see and to do. A vibrant atmosphere. You get to see how an old city looks like and yet experience modern conveniences at the same time. You can soak yourself in the culture of the place, old and new. Get to meet people from all over the world. And the Burgplatz is just a stone's throw away.

it is the most amazing place IN THE WHOLE WORLD. I lived there for a year, and will go back anyday. if you haven't seen duesseldorf, you haven't experienced life!!

The Alt Stadt is a must see in Dusseldorf. If you go during the day you can go shopping in one of the many clothing stores for teenagers and adults a like, there are also many cafes. During the night there are clubs and a lot of different bars to choose from. It is also right by the Rhein and so you can go and take a walk by the river while you are there. It is definitly a great experience.
