we went for a ""elegant wedding"" gees the bride and groom are probably very embarressed!! the boat was incredibly dirty inside and out...the cruise started 1 and a half hours late....the bar didnt open till everyone was dying of thirst!! the food was cold and salty...quite terrible actually...dinner was supposed to be at 6 ...

My son's high school group had their cruise cancelled on the same day due to weather??!! It was a beautiful day. They kept the $5000 deposit! Too bad, so sad says the pirates that run this ship. We''ll see.....

Don't waste your money.

The boat is run down, desperately in need of cleaning and repairs.
There was NO service even though we were told there would be.
If you go expecting to be served lunch, brown bag it unless you want to buy chips and a drink at the snack bar.
I guess the company could care less, there was no reply when I contacted them with my concerns.
I repeat,........don't waste your money!

What most people don't know is that the River Rouge is under new ownership and is no longer affilated with the paddlewheel tours thank God...
My experience was incredible aboard the River Rouge last summer,finally somebody invested alot of money towards making this project a winner once again!

the m.s river rouge (docked at the redwood bridge in winnipeg, manitoba). has been renovated and repainted,it still remains its origanal white and red colours. the rouge is cheaper then the paddlewheels. the tickets are 10 bucks adult and 5 bucks children.unlike the paddlewheels they have couchs everywhere.theres friendly staff and theres more room ...
