I had been to the Swizzle Inn a few times before for some quick drinks while touring. This past visit I bragged about the place and brought 27 friends of mine there. We ordered lunch and drinks. Food took 1 hour and 45 minutes, some orders weren't correct, they had to run out for bread and ran out of french fries, manager and some servers ...

Make sure you stop in and have a bite to eat then wash it down with a Rum Swizzle. Then go upstairs and by a Swizzle Inn shirt or hat. Take time and say hello to the owner and the friendly ladies that work there. Don't forget to leave your business card on the walls of the bar restaurant along with the hundred others. Tell them a New Jersey Bermudian, Al Baptiste sent you.

Taking the beautifull trip from Hamilton, through the Flatts past Shelly beach, and arriving at the Swizzle. The food was great, but you must try The Swizzle's Famous Drink!!!! I have tried to copy it, bought everything, but nothing compares to the way they make it!

When you visit Bermuda, there are a few things you must do.

Find a secluded beach,
Rent a moped,
Play golf and
eat and drink at the Swizzle Inn.

Just don't ride the moped after a few rum swizzles or dark n stormies.

The Swizzle Inn is right next to the Grotto Bay hotel, and was a quick walk to get there. The rum swizzle is yummy. Buy a pitcher instead of ordering by the glass. You really save $$ that way, as 2 glasses is the same price as a whole pitcher that will serve 2 people 2.5 drinks each.

The food is good, try the conch fritters! Service is typical ...

This pub is awesome....... there are hundreds of buisness cards pinned to the bar ceiling, walls ect. this is the oldest and most popular attraction and pub on the island. small but well worth the visit, the food and people are awesome. and dont forget the swizzles.......... great gift shop too
