I went here on a camp when I was eleven twice. It was amazing. I'd definitely go back! The view was AMAZING. I would not suggest very small children if you decide to take the stairs, but the stairs are the best way to experience this wonderful sight.
An old city with lots of history - great little streets to wander and drink great coffee, cold beers or champagne! Had the best schnitzel ever, coated with pumpkin seeds which is the local favorite. A Graz MUST!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/05
The Schlossberg is the center of Graz. The view from the top is beautiful! 3 ways to get to the top: 1)You can take an elevator for a small fee 2) a cable car- no extra charge if you already have a bus pass 3) or you can climb the 200-300+ stairs. There is an outdoor concert venue, a traditional restaurant, a modern restaurant, and a cafe, not to mention the Uhrturm, breathtaking gardens, and winding paths.

Beautiful Panoramic view
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/05
The view from the top, at the clock tower, is a magnificent sight, all of Graz its below you. The tower was originally part of a fortress but was destroyed as part of an agreement with Napolean and the clock tower is all that is left. Its a beautiful sight and I highly recommend it as a great place to go to see all of Graz.
