  • Rushed tour of the cave
    By Bonnie R, 10/29/06
Just got back to Florida after touring Ruby Falls and I have to say I too was rushed and there was very little time for pictures. It was more commercial and touristy than an educational experience. Tour guide was mor interested in playing a movie in the cave than pointing out sites and formations. The Raccoon Mountain Cave tour was far more worth ...

  • Must see this place
    By NancyL, 09/04/06
We went on the second busiest weekend of the year,so the tour took a little longer than the one hour that we were told, but that just gave us more time to look around. There was some damage to some of the formations, but not bad considering it's beenopen to the public for over 70 yrs.The tour guide was great answering all questions with both ...

  • Something to see once in your life
    By Robert, 07/31/06
My wife and I took our just-turned-3-year-old with us to see Ruby Falls.

Sure, we were in a group that consisted of 2 elevator loads of tourists, but our tour guide, Aerin was nice, helpful and knowledgable.

We had to step aside and let "survivors" (people returning from the falls) pass by, but on our way out, fresh tourists ...

  • We loved it!
    By Vanessa, 06/04/06
The only thing we disliked is knowing we had to leave. The location is awsome. The mountains is magestic. We will return and tell our family and friends.

  • Would never go again
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/06
The crowds were unbelievable. Crowd crontrol was poor. The cave hike was wice as long as advertised because the groups of people hoping to actually see the falls were too large. The cave itself was jammed packed with groups of people trying to take the tour and gropus of people trying to get back to the surface. The tours were oversold and as a ...

  • We had so much fun
    By Sheri, 03/12/06
We loved the whole experience. From finding our way to our destination to the breath taking views. We loved the tour guides and the service. Prices were a little steep but that is anywhere you go now a days. We are planning another trip in the summer. The kids brought back so much from this trip. They not only had fun but learned a whole lot too.

    By I am, 02/18/06
Absolutley loved the town and Ruby Falls.....During a business trip, my boss and I were able to take a trip up to Ruby Falls. WE were amazed. Our trip was in February and we went aroung 6:30 or 7. Our group was only 4 people. WE had plenty of time to pics of everything, and would not recommend going with a larger group. WE were able to walk ...

  • Ruby Falls a Must See
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/06
Wow, what an experience. Ruby Falls far exceeded my expectation and provided me and my family with a cherished set of memories.

Everything was great from the friendliness of the staff, the facilities and the waterfall itself is absolutly unbelievable.

In this world of theme parks, and homoginized trendy tourist draws it is good to know that historic family run places like Ruby Falls are still the absolutly must sees.

  • Nice thing to do
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/09/05
Well, first of all, there are signs throughout the South but when you actually get to Chattanooga, you need to be vigilant. We got turned around a few times. The road to get there winds up a mountain and isn't for a timid flatlands driver. That being said, it was a nice time. I didn't think I'd be claustrophobic but when I got down ...

  • A Fun Family hide awat
    By scooterbug, 10/06/05
I remember as a child going to Rock City, Ruby Falls and the Incline. I Couldn't wait to grow up to take my children. Let me say you have to be a person who loves God and nature to go in caves to see the things God has created. Ruby Falls is really great we took our family 2yrs. in a row to Chattanooga
    It is really great place.
    I think every ...
