We took our 17 month old little girl for the fist time yesterday and she loved it i can not wait untill every thing that they are working on is done because i know it will be even better
The front entrance is new and very nice looking. Parking is ample in the front of the building as well. The price is certainly well worth the visit.
Seeing the chimp, Hank, up close and personal was the highlight of the day. This 40 year old chimp will come right up to you and kiss you through the glass. He appears like a wise old man with a story ...

Great little zoo
By Mrs. Marshmellow, 06/03/08
We enjoy the Warner Park Zoo. It is small but well laid out and you can see the animals really well. It is a good value as well.
When we lived in the Chattanooga metropolotin area (that's a joke) for two years, this was one of our favorite things to do!!
We got a zoo membership which was extremely cheap and were not afraid to visit for an afternoon or morning. It was a great way to spend time with the kids (they were one and two at the time) and not worry about ...

Loved it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/07
My 2 1/2 year old loved Warner Park Zoo better than the Atlanta, Zoo. It wasn't too crowded and you can see the animals a lot more closely. I have a membership to the Atlanta Zoo but next year I will be adding a membership to the Warner Park Zoo as well!

We love our zoo.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/21/07
We enjoy everything about the zoo. We have been over 50 times and plan to go 50 more. With such great prices you can make it a quick trip, or an all day event. No matter what I know my family will always enjoy our zoo.

We live here and love it
By SmalltownCardFan64, 05/13/06
The Chattanooga zoo is a small zoo that you can see in about 1 and 1/2 hours. We have five chimpanzees (our favorite is Hank), two jaguars, two mountain lines, two red pandas, two camels, tamarans, spider monkeys, kinkagoos, a heyena (Frankie) and several animals you might see in your back yard. Our kids love the zoo, there is normally a small ...

It was a nice day out
By stolenangel1979, 06/30/05
With a 10-yr old, a 9-yr old and a baby in tow, I visited the Warner Park Zoo on a Wednesday, which is dollar day. We got in for only $3 and the boys loved looking at all the animals. They liked the chimps as well as the petting zoo where they fed the goats and saw the huge hog and a camel. There was a concession stand with cold drinks and shaded ...

Better than most small zoos
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/05
It was a good place to visit and the kids enjoyed getting really close to the chimpanzees. We are avid zoo-goers and could tell that this was an older zoo by the size of the majority of the exibits. We almost missed the Red Pandas because the indoor viewing area is not marked. The animals seemed to be well cared for and the racoons were even ...
