HELP ! Can't find a schedule of events...?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/09
The park is, of course, spectacularly beautiful...but...we can't find out if there is a "swing band" playing there tomorrow night (Sat. Sept. 5, 2009). In fact, I can't find a website at all. If anyone knows about the band playing tomorrow night, please post the info here on "Write a review" & I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks...

CAROUSEL BAND ORGAN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/09
The people of your city aremissing out on a very nice feature in the park carousel. several years back I built a very fine carousel organ which should be an important part of the carousel. During my last visit to the park the organ was in bad repair and no longer in use. When I asked why the organ was not used the answer given was it was too ...
The carousel there is awesome, and kids and kids at heart love it, though maybe a little overpriced for one ride. The fountains are awesome, there unique, wonderful for kids to play around and run through. Paths around are nice for a sunny days walk in the park. the field is great for relaxing or playing frisbee. great view of the water. } has the ...
loved the vintage carousel, and the water fountains that children could run through and play in. The walkways along the river, and the climbing wall on one of the piers of the Walnut Street Walking bridge were very interesting.
well i used to live in the chattanooga area and coolidge park is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself. if its riding bikes or just sitting and reading a book, its a great place to take a family and relax for the day. very family friendly!

A little too crowded on a hot day
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/07
After our long walk across the pedestrian bridge, we were bombarded by tons of other children at the interactive waterfall.
Great place, just too many kids running around and around. I was afraid they would knock my small children over.

Great time with the Family!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/07
Coolidge Park hands down is a definatley great place to go expecially on a sunny summer day. To me and my family its the small stores and places to eat that make that river front so exciting. My 15 yr. old loves the shops like all things groovy while the two 5yr. old twins love to play and eat. The Mudpie ties our family together funky art, kind people, good food.....what more can you ask for.......
