This was the worst thing I have ever paid to do. I thought my husband and I could celebrate our 10 year anniversary doing something different and memoriable. The cruise lasted about an hour and half and the best part of it was when it was over. The most exciting thing we saw was some ducks. They pointed out some different things, a steel ...

The Southern Belle dinner cruise was amazing!!! I went on my 10th wedding anniversary... and my husband and I are going back this April for our 15th anniversary. The food, service, and music was fabulous... and it is an affordable, pleasurable evening you will cherish and remember for a lifetime!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

nice scenery... food not so great

they need more menu options, especially for vegetarians, but it was a beautiful ride! lots to look at and comfortable seating if you weren't into walking around. bring a jacket though, even in the dead tennessee heat it gets chilly up on the deck.

Lunch time cruise to the way to go!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/07
My husband and I took the Lunch buffet cruise. It was only $38.00 for the two of us- that includes the lunch buffet and cruise tickets, gratuity and taxes. This was the 12:00 cruise. I did not like the fact that the tables were so close together, but with a lunch buffet, it does not take long for the meal to start and end. They let you begin ...
We went on this cruise and my entire family loved it! We will take another cruise when we return to Chattanooga. I definitely recommend this for families. Our children are six and four and they loved every minute of it.
My wife an I enjoyed our cruise. The view from the Southern Belle is breathtaking and relaxing. The prime rib was excellent and the Dixieland band provieded the entertainment.

Good food,so-so service, too many people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/06
The food was good, service was not good, very crowded. I generally liked it but it was very crowded.(elbow to elbow) We went on the dinner cruise so with parking, cruise and picture for two people everything was $100. It was fun to experience one time but for the price and as many people as you have to deal with we will not go again.

Excellent Ride
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/23/06
The atmosphere at Southern Belle was very laid back and relaxed and the crew was very cool. While the tickets are a little steep, they do provide an hour and a half ride. However, an hour would probably have been enough. If you have children with you, you might want to reconsider as an hour and a half can be a very long time.
