On 8-6-09, I took my son and his friends to Big Splash which is an hour and 45 min drive one way. We live in Arkansas. For 1 adult and 5 kids under the age of 12, I paid $200 to get in. As we are floating in the lazy river, I notice all this trash in the river with me. QT cups, leaves, etc. The lifeguards working the slides and the tunnel are ...
As season pass holders we enjoy Big Splash. After reading many of the negative comments I decided to post mine. We buy our passes in Dec when they are almost giving them away. I also buy some passes for gifts. We come 2 to 3 times per week sometime more so I see "the good, the bad and the ugly" ie the good:: safe, fun, family ...

Vastly Disapointed

I've lived in Tulsa 12 years and visited the park a handful of time. This year we went and was saddened at the dirty water in the lazy river. It doesn't take much to skim a net through it occasionally!! There was little shade because the pavillions have been taken down. No water fountain that I could find and the prices for food/drink is ...
Not worth the money! I had small children with me and we had a group of teens with foul mouths in the park which management did nothing about with several complaints... Please don't take your family here you will be subjecting them to adult only atmosphere. The slides are not worth the money, maybe if you got it for half the price and still didn't expect much. Disappointed

Definitely No Frills - Small and Dingy

This park was something nice to do with the kids, but expect to be wowed. It was not as large or even as well kept as I had expected for a city like Tulsa. The lifeguards (teens/college types) were well attentive and on the spot as well as well supervised. I saw an older adult lifeguard walking around checking on the younger ones.
I had my baby girl 2 and my son 9 in the kiddie pool with me, my baby will not play in the other pools. My son was sitting in the water playing ball with the baby and a jerk life guard walks by and says "hey buddy you cant be in here you are too big." I said he is in here with me incase he didnt realize that, he said park rules say he is ...

My family and I just moved here from Missori and we went straight to Big Splash. My 4 year old loves it. We bought a season ticket for us so we could go all summer. The only thing I dislike about the place is the prices of food and drinks and why we cant bring in our food and drinks.
