My daughter and two grandchildren noticed all the new improvements made since our last visit. The new lion cubs sure have grown. We liked the new umbrellas at eating tables and the new train. Yea! More shade. We enjoye the Attic room. While in Rain Forest a CooCoo bird jumped on my shoulder! The kids loved that! Thanks! Very clean!
Ok for something to do but very outdated! Avoid the buildings epecially if you have a stroller/wheelchair as the doors hve floor to ceiling chains and are difficult to manuever. Once you start in the buildings must go through all 4-5 of them. Besides the buildings stink as in animal stink! Do ride carosel and train as these are the only reason my daughter (4) likes to go to the zoo, but note they are seasonal so check websight first.
The facilities are outdated and not green or accessible. There should be a recycling container at EVERY trash can. Also, the restroom I used was out of soap and the hand dryer thing was out of order. I was extremely disappointed that things were not very handicapped accessible. I had a baby in a stroller and it was not easy to get around at all. ...
I love going to zoos, so what ever city I'm in I usually stop by the zoo. This one was okay but I've seen better. The paths really don't match up and it's hard to know if you miss animals. But hey if you've nothing else to do I'd go.
I went to this zoo with my family with high hopes becasue they had the 2 female elephants from the Oklahoma City Zoo and my daughter so loves the elephants. When we got there, we were able to see all of the animals in about 20 minutes. There just weren't any to speak of. Yes living museum is right. There are more museum exhibits than anything. ...

I have been to several zoos and depending on the time of day is when and where the animals will be. tulsa zoo closes at 5 even in the winter the rainforest mey close at 4. if you get a chance go to the website and email them they are a personable crew.
The price of the zoo is really low comparing to other zoo's but the lack of staff and employees made this zoo abismal. There is really a lack of animals and empty exhibits; animals that were there looked neglected and sad, many of them without food or water. One example was a single bear i saw today that was walking back and forth who looked ...
We went to the zoo in August. It was very warm that day, but we still had an enjoyable time. The zoo was easy to walk through, also very accessible with a stroller!!!!The food prices were a little high, but most zoos are. All of the staff were friendly, and the train and the carousel were good things for the kids to do cheap. If you do go, I ...
