I like that it is free, and that it stretches from one end of the city to the other with miles of sidewalks for biking or running, or whatever your heart's desire, I dont like that the river is scarcely ever up, and therefore it is more of a muddy creek walk than anything else..but I still think it is good and could be great!

A whole new world
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/05
I have been living in around the Tulsa area my whole life. I never knew that there was a whole new world in my backyard. My first time on the RiverParks trail led to the pedestrian bridge--a must see! We biked from 61st street all the way to Gilcrease Museum. It was an unforgetful experience. There is plenty to explore, you get a workout while doing it.
We don't have to pay to see the river. We have a special place to go and be romantic. We like to see the stars there at night. Lovely setting. Enjoying the outdoors and apperciate our city and state. If you like to have a romantic moment go here for real!

Great afternoon outing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/05
A real nice park for walking, biking, blading. Also has a nice little cafe where I would sip on a beer on a hot day. Nice view of downtown at the north end of the parks...
