I lived on the Cherokee reservation back in 1989 and it was as beautiful then as it is now. Many changes have occured since then, they have a casino (no alcohol) and looks as though they are prospering much better than when I lived there. If you are looking for good places to shop or learn about the Tribe itself you're in the right place. ...

A beautiful place and the people were very friendly. I am a teacher from south florida and most of my students have never seen mountains, creeks, or waterfalls so I took pictures to show them. I fell in love with the place, I have never felt so close to nature. The fog in the early morning is mesmerizing.
