Beautiful setting, nice people and a wonderful exhibit area. The gift shop is loaded with unique glass, pottery, art and more at very reasonable prices. Don't miss this!

I just visited for the first timein September. It is quite nice. I loved the local craftsmen demonstrations. Lotsof neat stuff to see, and a big shop full of the guild members work.

The Folk Art Center is one of the most unique travel experiences of Western North CArolina. Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge , this lovely building houses special arts and crafts exhibits, generally features gifted artisans on site demonstrating their skills and the gift shop features the finest of local pottery, weaving, stained glass work, wood working and handmade jewelry.
