We were staying at a local hotel & happened to over hear some people talking about the great food - especially the crab encrusted halibut. We made reservations & ordered the aforementioned item - oh, my gosh, this had to be the best food I've ever had in a restaurant. Also, the clam chowder is wonderful. We're from Missouri &, as they say, you must "show me" & they certainly did. Hope to get back up that way.

Full of character! Sit at the bar and share drinks and food with those around you. If you want a table, making reservations is a must. The crab encrusted halibut ($10.00 for the past 2 years) is delicious. If you're hungry, you better order two of these plates. Mix in a pomegranate martini and your meal is complete. REASON FOR BAD REVIEW: Went here on Sunday August 24, 2008 and was treated very rudely by the weasel guy seating people. You definately need reservations here as the tables go quickly. The menu is posted outside on a chalk board, so you're already hungry before you go inside. Both times we've eaten there, the food has been outstanding. Both times had a different lamb dish & a fish dish. Lots of flavor. One of our favorite places to eat in Florence.

This place has atmosphere and wonderful pacific northwest style dishes. Every time I've been in the food was exceptionally good. If you don't like seafood, can't handle small spaces with lots of people, or have a tight budget (it adds up -- drinks, appetizer, main course), pick another place to dine. To escape the crowd and spend less, try lunch on a weekday.
Great food with very reasonable prices make the Waterfront a local favorite. Call in advance for reservations since it always fills up with locals and visitors in the know.

Reservations are a must during high season! Fresh food cooked to perfection. Main courses run $9 - $15 and include salmon, halibut, steak, and chicken dishes.
