This is my favorite place to get sushi and i eat sushi about once a week at least! The bellisumo roll is incredible, with macadamia nuts and a great spicy sauce. The oyeeshi roll is amazing too! Incredibly fresh! i reccomend it to all my friends. I have a few favorite rolls and peices but everytime i try something new, I am happy! The service is great and the prices are reasonable. Try this place for sure!

Fantastic food, which was very surprising given it's very generic exterior and location. I dig it much better than other Japanese restaurants in town.

I love Oyama. It is the best Japanese resturant in Iowa City. The Iowa City roll is hands down the best. The Oyama roll is also very good. The wait staff is exceptional and the sushi chiefs are extremely nice and personable.

Hot towel upon arrival is just the first of the many extras you will find at Oyama. Great variety on the menu and divine sushi. Wait staff goes out of their way to make sure your dining experience with Oyama is the best.....and it is.
