Zero for Customer Service!I have never had such an awful experience in dealing with Redtail's customer service and General Manager. I recently brought in a club that I purchased at Redtail to be reshafted and have subsequently had to bring it back 3 additional times to have the club "fixed" again. Best of any Portland area municipalI moved to Hillsboro a few months ago and was thrilled to find Redtail. I look for two things in a golf course: challenge and value. Redtail can stretch to 7,100+ yards from the tips and plays to a 74.1/136. I live In Beaverton...I avoid it.The course surroundings are beautiful, but as far as a public course you can find better value at Heron Lakes. Many times the condition of the course is no better than Rose City. Rose City green fees are $25. In myt opinion that is what Red Tail is worth.
Now Stockpot Rest. Is a great place to eat lunch, dinner, or Sunday Brunch. Save your money and play somewhere else.OVERALLAtmosphereValue -
Red Tail, so close, but so far away stillThe redesign at the turn of the Millennium was fantastic and very needed. If only they would of redesigned there customer serive philosophy as well.
Redtail is the only muni course around that makes you feel like you are inconveniencing them by being their customer.

It is worth playingI like the challenge. It is not a long course for ladies, but I have played it for over 17 years and still find it worth playing and $40 is a fair value.
This summer there are more than others a lot of very bare spots so you are hitting off hardpan. Sometimes they pack the scheduling a little too tight and it can be slow at times.
