It is a very nice church from the outside. You have to wait for a very long to time to go in to the church, you have to pay 8,00 € entrence fee. I was very disapointed from the inside, I would not go inside again. I would rather save the 8 €
This place is so spectacular that I have to say that it is a "must seen" in Barcelona. It is still under construction now, but it is amazing already. Make sure you take the stairs (sorry, I don't recall how many steps, but a lot for sure) inside the tower. That is a good execrise with a good view.
We instantly fell in love with the artist/architect. The view from the top is a great overview of the city. It's a shame that it is still a work in progress. The city hasn't been feeding much money into the project. But, someday it will be complete. The symbolism that he inspired into this church is magnificent. The lineage of Christ ...
This is an extremely intriging cathedral. This project has been ongoing for over 100 years. What I didn't quite understand is the fact the the newer construction architecture is so very different from its original architecture. Are we sure this is the same artist? Quite confused.
OK, the exterior is well worth the trip, but I regret paying to go inside to only see scaffolds and cranes! The Museum underneath isn´t worth visiting if you´ve been to La Pedrera or Casa Battlo, wich explain far better Gaudi´s vision. After paying your entrance, if you want to go to the top, you´ll pay an extra 2Euros.

The church is absolutely incredible inside, with huge stained glass windows and graceful columns that seem to stretch all the way up to heaven. It is impossible not to feel a sense of awe when you walk into this ...
its nice to take pictures from the outside, but inside theres not much for the kids.

The Thing to See
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/05
If you only have one day in Barcelona, this is the thing that you have to experience in this city. This cathedral is still under construction, but the cranes and scaffolding do not take anything away from this masterpiece. We had the most fun taking the elevator up to the top (It cost 2 euros when we went). Then we walked all the way back ...
