We were recently part of a large group and the food was "just picked" or purchased. Herbs snipped from the quaint herb garden behind the restaurant. Sweet corn, crab and basil soup - FANTASTIC - along with the vegetable lasagna. Appetizers are unusual and the taste treat is something to wet your taste buds. Laurel the consumate hostess and restaurant is truly like walking into a part of France. Worth a drive from anywhere.

I've been eating here for as long as its been open whenever I'm in town. This place is my FAVORITE place to eat. Last time I was there she had a lemon artichoke soup that was to die for.
We have eaten at the Laurel Tree on several occasions. We also had two large groups of 16 and 21. Each time we have not been disappointed. We love the place! Laurel is a delightful hostess and an innovative chef. (Have you ever had spicey hot ice cream? ) The dining is elegant and casual. I have seen camo's and sequins on the same night. Well worth the trip!

For $35 per person, we were disappointed. There are 2 entree choices on the menu and we didn't even know what they were until we arrived. Called ahead when ...
A lovely experience in every way. The setting is beautiful and the food is delicious. A most unuasual experience in a very small town. Certainly worth the drive to Utopia to see the facility and enjoy the dining pleasure.
My daughter was married there. Laural Waters and her crew did a perfect job helping with everything one needs to take on this task.

Our dinner was elegant and delicious!!! I would recommend it to all. Although a little more expensive than you would expect for a small town, very much worth every penny! We will return! Truly magnificent!!!! I can't wait until the next visit to Utopia, Texas.
This french/country-style restaurant..........is quaint, yet elegant........and the ambiance is casual........yet, you find yourself feeling as though you're in Europe. It's set in a beautiful limestone house.....with a peek-a-boo fireplace...beautiful china.........great food, outstanding service.......and a fixed price menu that includes ...
