This beach is nasty, trash everywhere, and filled with low life scum. Me and a friend went and it is unsafe to walk the strip if your a girl the low life of lake worth visit here so be careful if you go!! its better to go to palm beach which if straight down okeechobee road. allows dogs, friendly people and its clean

The beach area has deteriorated, largely because of hurricanes a couple of years ago. Next to Lake Worth beach is a park that is very nice, with showers, water fountain and bathrooms. The park is grassy and has good tree cover. A few steps down from the park is the beach with lifeguards on duty. Lake Worth Beach was lovely years ago, but needs to go a long way to get back.
