Mosh has the potential to be a very cool place...even for "grown ups", but I was highly disappointed when I went about a two months ago. Most of the hands on stuff was broken and didn't have directions or an explanation of what it was demonstrating. I also went to the planetarium show and the "host" had no earthly idea ...

There wasn't much to see,it is old and worn out. I love museums and this one just wasn't worth our time. Perhaps for very small children this would be an ok place to take them but for adults it just doesn't stimulate the brain. I suggest the Jacksonville Zoo, it has a great animal atmosphere with a minor exception of the animal cages being a little too small.

took the family to the mosh while visiting. enjoyed it a lot. planetarium was great. many intresting exhibits. will go back.

Since I am not from Jacksonville, I wanna go to a museum there to see history of the city and old pictures of it, I don't care about the Jacksonville Jaguars! Enough already! Jacksonville doesn't have to cram it down everyone's throates that it has a football team. We wanna see pictures of Jacksonville in 1833, 1933, etc. Its not a history museum, its an NFL museum.

I thought that since Jacksonville is such a large city that the local museum must be fantastic. I was wrong....the MOSH was a hugh letdown and I am stunned that they have the nerve to charge $7.00 to get in there. One exibit is a history of the Jaguars football team, who cares. I have been to many museums in much smaller communties then Jacksonville and this is a sad excuse for a museum and science center. I don't recommend it.
