we got rained on in the afternoon, but we didn't care. The Jacksonville Zoo was even better than I expected. It was setup well to see all the animals. Expect to spend the whole day!

Its very up close and personal, they have unique animals. It is a very neat and clean zoo. Take the train ride, you will get a chance to see things you wont by walking through.

Always lots to see at the Jax zoo. We went again on 13 December and the Jaguar was out...always cool to see. If you go now, they have the Stingray exhibit. Very Clean, lots of animals, less pavement than in regular zoos. Great family location. Beautiful combination of animals and the environment/gardens.

this zoo was the best. i have been to the washington zoo and i thought that was the best but this topped them all. the animals were so close that the kids did not want to move on to other exhibits. the monkeys were the best. my kids were so fasinated how close they were and we were there for a half hour interacting with them. everything about the zoo was great.
we were really impressed.
