  • BEAKS HELPS BIRDS!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/07
I haven't been to the sancuary yet, but I found a duck that had a blow dart through his neck. I was twenty miles away from BEAKS. That same day, they sent someone to pick it up. I really appreciated that. And so did the duck. He lived. I love knowing that someone cares so much about our feathered friends.

All are cared for by amazing people, ...

  • One of Our Favorite Places
    By floridasuzie, 01/20/06
BEAKS has a baby bird "shower" each Mother's Day and people are invited to bring gifts such as bird seed, etc. My sons and I would go every Mother's Day, it was a special time. Since losing our youngest son 1 1/2 yrs ago at the age of 15, the memories of watching him feeding baby birds with an eye dropper are even more priceless. ...
