I love knowing that TAPS (Ghost Hunters from SciFi network) went there and proved it was haunted. I went there because I knew they were there and wanted to see if I could experience something myself. My husband did and when I took a picture of him there were many orbs surrounding him.

Very enjoyable visit thanks to volunteer Jacob

We had a fantastic time touring the lighthouse. We climbed to the top. Very windy, a bit scary, but well worth it. The best part of the tour was talking to a young man named Jacob who is a veteran volunteer at the lighthouse. He was so polite and you could tell he really had a passion for the lighthouse. We spoke with him for quite a while and ...

Wrong Photo!

This is a photo of The Lightner Museum on Kinks Street, not the Lighthouse Museum...
Just thought you might want to make a change to the photo.
The view from the lighthouse is amazing and the grounds are also very interesting. The climb to the top is a little scary and tiring but it is so worth it, if you are scared and dont go you will be missing out on the 10th tallest lighthouse in the U.S.
I am sorry, but I feel that you cannot complete your St. Augustine visit without visiting the Lighthouse. It was a breathtaking experience. Not only do you get the satisfaction of having a gorgeous panoramic view of all of St. Augustine after you have climbed 219 steps, but the satisfaction of knowing you climbed it is wonderful too. The museum was ...
We didn't get to climb to the top, but the view was beautiful! This was the first lighthouse I'd seen. Would love to go back again!

Not haunted

Climbing to the top was easier than we thought. 219 steps is not as bad as you would think. The view at the top is beautiful. We took the Dark of the Moon tour, and we found it to be absolutely not haunted in our opinion. We thought the tour guides we kind of boring, and had some unbelievable stories. Overall though a great place to visit.
219 steps to climb with a breath taking view. It's a great place to visit with the family. You have 2 options to choose from - just visit the Museum or climb the Lighthouse an see the surrounding areas. Either way, it's fun!
