The Dixon May Fair is the oldest fair in the state of California. I've only lived in dixon for a few years and come to love the town just by the atmosphere when may fair comes around and yes the parade does make it hard for people to get to the fairgrounds but its a great experience especially if you love agriculture like I do.

I grew up in Dixon and have loved the fair for as long as I can remember. It has changed over the years but it still maintains the small time atmosphere that is often lost in big events. There is something for everyone from animals, artwork, food and music. It is not cement filled like the state fair or gang filled like the county fair! It is old fashioned fun!

I went to the Dixon May Fair, i am was very overwhelm on the history of the town.Even though it is a small town everyone was very nice and i didn't get lost.Food was great fun for all the family.
