My daughter absolutely loves Fairytale Town. She slid down slides and then ran from the bottom of the slides to the ladder to do it all again and again. I loved the fact that many benches are conveniently located midway between the exit and the entrance of the slides so I could simply enjoy watching her. Additionally, she loves the face painting ...

My grandchildren 4 to 8 loved it

Fairytale Town is a safe, remarkable, fund spot for children to run, play and imagine! I heard the comments about it being run down Did you know, it is a non-profit - how about pitching in or volunteering? The low admission can't cover all the costs!
Wow this was a good idea from someone! Nice shady park with lots of slides things to climb on and play on while parents have a rest on one of the many benches out for you. No complaints besides the icecream shop shut down and hour before they closed :(
I took my son with friends when he was under 1 year of age. I was amazed at how "worn" the place looked.
We continued to go with friends and with our mom's group. As our kids have grown (mine's just turning 3 with a party at the castle soon) they grew into the park and there is no requirement that it be shiny and overly ...

A Fun and Safe Place to Go
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/02/08
We enjoy taking our grandchildren to Fairytale Town, and we go several times through the year. We have as much fun as they do, and it brings us back to simpler times. We appreciate the ruling that adults cannot go in without children; it's a safety factor that gives us peace of mind. The staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. We're proud to be buying a brick on their Yellow Brick Road.

My husband and I read such nice things about the park that while visiting the Sacramento area we put it on our list of things to do only to be rudely turned away at the gate like a homeless person at a 4 star restaurant. What all the web sites fail to mention is the fact that there is a city ordinance which does not allow anyone in the park without ...

Fairy tale town is owsome! I took my 4 year old there while we were in town for a weekend. I was told it was like a park and an would take about an hour to see everything, boy was I miss informed. We were there for five hours and she wanted to stay longer! I only wish we had a place like that near our home, so we can go more often. It was like a ...

Great Day !

I recently visited this wonderful play land with my 3 grandchildren ages 5, 3, and 2 . They played until they couldnt play anymore. The park was exceptionally clean, with many things for children to do. The smiles on their faces are forever imprinted in my mind. What a great wholesome place to take children. I would hope that anyone who has young ...

Simple Pleasures, Good Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/06
My family has been enjoying Fairytale Town since my son was a few months old. He's now 3 and we still go there, often as the destination spot for our playgroup or when we have visitors with small children. It is truly a Sacramento treasure because it emphasizes imagination and playful activity rather than expense and rides. Children here can ...
