The California State Capitol is an absolutely beautiful and an awesome historical building. I wanted a history lesson of my state and I received a bountiful. I can’t believe it took me this long to see the capitol of California and it was sure well worth the drive. I can’t wait to return!!
This building is a beautiful testament to arcatecture and the waste and abuse of the California tax dollar. It's the apitomy of the gluttony and almost uselessness of our government. Besides that, the price is right because they don't charge to get in, "yet." P.S. If there are any mispellings in this review like any good liberal I am going to blame someone else. Government run education. Oh, and Arnold is there!
For anyone visiting Sacramento, the Capitol tour is a must. The park surrounding the Capitol building is wonderful, and in spring time is truly beautiful. The roses were magnificent.
Our docent was a retired attorney, and was very knowledgeable about California history and politics.
Very elegant and receptive. Lots of informaiton and history.
Senate,Assembly and Governer's office. Worth the visit.
They have tours every one hour. YOu can visit at least 3 locations n Sacrament on the same day. Or may be more if you plan. they are open from 10 to 5 PM on weekends.
I really liked this activity. I thought there would be an actual museum, but all I could find was the actual capitol building itself. It was very interesting to see where so much happens for our state. there is a free guided tour that is great to go on and they show you everything.

Inside this very building is where a lot of amazing stuff takes place. If you haven't been there, you're really missing out! Even the bathrooms are some of the cleanest i've ever seen! With a park just outside its doors and the state governer inside, it is an amazing place for tourists to visit.

it doesn't give any history on the capitol! i liked its images though. It is very comfortable you do not have to go there to get information about a place. you NEED to WORK on your HISTORY THOUGH.
