My husband and I were very sad to see that Vermillion had closed their shop. We go to Carmel about 2 or 3 times a year, and we would make it a point to go to Vermillion. I was very sorry to see the best store I have ever been to CLOSED. You both will be missed by our community. Thank you for so many years of great inventory, knowledge and friendship. It was always a pleasure doing business here.

This elegant shop had all the best that Japan has to offer. Furniture, Art, Kokeshi Dolls, Teas, Dishes, Various Collectibles and two wonderful shop owners who were very helpful, friendly and full of knowledge. We'll be back looking forward to our next visit to Carmel with much anticipation!

I loved this shop. Both owners were present and willing to answer any questions I had. Very warm atmosphere. They had a nice Kokeshi collection.
