beautiful wine estate worth the trip and the moneyAbsolutely beautiful wine estate. Showed up without an appointment for an outstanding tasting of great wines. We purchased several bottles and asked for them to be shipped to our home in Colorado. They were just delivered today along with literature about each bottle that we purchased. We look forward to enjoying each bottle we purchased in the years to come.OVERALL

BLACK NOVAMy husband I are wine novices.I like wine but he is not a big fan but this winery impressed us both.Our guide was an informative young lady who really had a passion for wine not just the finish but the whole process.I learned alot and we tasted all along the tour as we went through the chai and the vinyard and the press. Fabulous!What a pleasant surprise Chateau Julien turned out to be. We just happened to drop in for some wine tasting that turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Carmel valley. The tour was informative and interesting, the wines were fabulous and everyone was so nice! We tried them all and this one cannot be beat! Truly an experience for anyone visiting the Carmel valley.
