This is a great place if you like to be scared silly! We never knew what was coming next. I literally had to drag the kids with me as they were so scared - but they loved it at the same time. Its a bit gruesome - no very gruesome and I wouldn't take kids under about 9. The actors were brilliant.

I Diddent seeing That man with His Head chopped off! But I thought that the effects were realy Great! I am sure that anyone who Goes in would Be Realy terrified!

Visited York Dungeon last weekend using our York Passes - for £28 for two days it gets you into 28 of Yorks top attractions saving you a fortune as York Dungeons is £13.00 per person but after visiting would still pay the entrance fee. The actors were brilliant especially the girl at the start telling the plague story, she made a bee line for me ...

wow i thought it looked real to me and my friends, we jumped out of our skin when we saw it ... we thought the plauge was the the best, but i thought it was'nt as good as the londen dugeons

Initially we thought expensive but when you get inside you apreciate the work thats been put into this attraction. The overall experience was brill and absolutely frightening! The real people were excellent and the shocks kept coming.
I had to keep telling myself its only pretend!!
A great attraction. A must go when you are in York!

It was an amazing and terrifying day out. I think all ages will be shocked by all the dazzling and exciting things to see and do.

liked all; the scary bits visit near to night then it will really scare you all the dummies there look realistic especially the holographic faces

ALONG WITH VERY GOOD ACTORS THIS MAKES FOR A WELL WORTH VISIT.

Do not take in this attraction by yourself - it might just be too much. Far from some animatronic haunted house, this is a full scale fright fest where things that go bump in the night actually jump out at you.

Or run at you screaming waving battle axes.

And then give you a gruesome history lesson. Though don't take the kids. It could ...
