It was my husbands birthday, the food was excellent, the staff were brilliant. We really enjoyed our evening. You get plenty of food, and the house wine was excellent too.

Great choice of food and Rose wine spot on! Something for everyone and a beautiful room to eat in. Even when it is busy it doesn't feel crowded because of the space available.

My boyfriend and I go to Ask at least every couple of months. After eating at out many places in York, Ask definitely has the best surroundings. The excellent food and the considerate staff only add to the unique atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

I thing that I loved the most about Ask was the building, it is fantastic. The food was very good too. i thought that the service could be inproved a little beacause I did have to ask for a drink three times before i finallt got one, however i understand that it's easy to forget thongs when times are really busy.
