Outsiders opinionComing from abroad and seeing how stables are run in other countries, I have no complaints about this riding school at all.
The staff were approachable, the lessons given were of a high standard. Questions were answered, little shop, a bonus.
I certainly will be going back there on my next visit back to England.OVERALL

The best aroundGlen jakes has Lovely ponies and horses. Helpful staff and an overall great atmosphere. Sometimes the horses are a bit mucky but that can't be helped and they are very well looked after despite what anyone says. It's Great!!!Glen Jakes is a lovely place to ride and has a relaxed atmospere, while also being very proffesional! Any child from the age of 4 onwards would enjoy riding any of the friendly horses & ponies here in both the summer and winter!OVERALLAtmosphereValue

BrillThe Yard was very tidy, horses were being cared for, staff were very pleasent and helpful. The place is very well organised from the yard to the office so everyone knows what their jobs are. There are loads of horses from little shetlands to great big shire crosses!!! I thought it was fab and really enjoyed my lesson, I can't wait to go back next week.OVERALLAtmosphereValue

AwfulI used to ride at Glen Jakes, I started with a friend who promtly left as the instructor left the lesson whilst teaching leving the lesson on there own. I stayed on for a couple of years until i saw one of the helpers elbowing a horse in the side with alot of force to stop it eatin hay!!!! i found this totally unexceplable. The horses were never looked after propbely as they were always dirty, muddy and sluggish.0 of 2 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL
