Great ambiance with fantastic views, coupled with cool, crisp, clean air amke the Bucket of Blood Saloon a must-see when visiting Virginia City. Do NOT miss it.

We had the opportunity to drop into this historic saloon and had a great time. We are from Arizona so the appreciation of the old west runs deep. Bucket of Blood provided us with a sense "old timeness" that should always be there when in a saloon in the west. If you take away the cars and electricity...riding into Virginia City on our bikes gave us the feelin' of "ridin' into the old west"

This bar is not to be missed when in Virginia City, Nevada. The view out the large picture window is amazing and the cocktails aren't bad either!!!!!!

But since the owners have taken all the old machines out and put in the ones from the late 80's and early 90's (1900's not the 1800's) it has lost some of its charm. I still love this place and is the first place I visit everytime I get to Virginia City. The view is amazing!!! I highly recommend that anyone visit Virginia City and stop into the Bucket of Blood saloon.
