The trail system is a lot of fun for hiking on. The arenas are not so good. The footing in the main large arena is very deep and very loose-great for a pulled suspensory or bowed tendons. The small arena is okay, but very uneven and a little hard. If they would fix their arenas, the place would be worth a visit.

i have never attended a special event at bartley ranch, but because i live nearby, i have visited many times for a picnic lunch with my husband, with my family, or with friends. if you just want a lazy afternoon, this is the place.

Strike "dislike" as there is nothing about the Park to dislike. It is one of the most carefully planned and meticulously kept park with a diversity unmatched. We ride our horses there frequently and enjoy passing joggers, bike riders, picnikers, wedding parties, special events, etc. Bravo to the Rangers for their outstanding care.

Going to the Bartley Ranch is a fun experience that lifts the spirits. I usually go in the Spring and Fall. In the Fall the park is busy with all fall festivities that helps me to brace for the cooler yet colorful season. It is a great place for the whole family.
