Under the old owner, John, this was the worst ski area I've been to. Very little value for the money. Friends lost lots of money when the old cabin burned and they were not refunded money. Tahoe Donner, a nearby, smaller resort is much friendlier and has great skiing as well. His minons chased back country skiers if they just crossed his groomed tracks to get to the area behind the resort. I hope the new ownership is better
