We Use This Park to Train (Cross Country+Track)!Locally we use Idlewild park to train for cross country and track. It is a very nice place to run however there are some homeless around the area. My Kid's Favorite Park!Idlewild is my children's favorite park for many reasons. The largest of the play areas has something for every kid, from my littlest tyke to my eldest daughter. There is one area designed for older children ( 6-12 ) and only yards away is another area for little ones ( 2-5 ). a fun place!It has been a HUGE hit with me and the kids since we moved here. There is a great park play area for all ages. It's a dump !!This park, being one of the oldest in Reno, really shows it's age. The grass areas are very worn out, weeds grow aplenty amongst what flower beds are planted. The City of Reno has neglected this landmark for many years as they are too involved in updating and maintaining the new parks within new housing developments.
