We have taken all of our family and friends to the finest best kept secret in Reno. The prime rib is out of this world. Tender, moist and tasty. The service is EXCELLENT. After your dinner, the creme broullai (sp?) is one of the best I have ever had.

Great Food and People
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/06
We had a family dinner for 12 in Cactus Creek. The food was delicious and each person was totally thrilled with choices and service. The wine list was great. We loved the waitress, who made sure the kids were satisfied. What a wonderful hidden gem in Reno.

Best "Local's" casino in Reno!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/29/06
Very friendly, great steakhouse with Cactus Creek, good selection of slots and $1 Single Deck Black Jack. This casino really separates itself from the pack. It is located just North of downtown on Virginia Street. The big boys (large casinos) ought to take notice and take a lesson from these guys.

The food, service and wine selection are the best that I have found in the Reno area! My husband had prime rib that you could cut with a fork and the Macadamia Encrusted Halibut is a fabulous.

What a treat!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/05
We went the Cactus Creek to make a big announcement to my parents - our engagement. It was a perfect place to do it, and a great way to celebrate. Delicious food, friendly people, classy yet not stuffy atmosphere, really cool mood music, and it didn't cost us a fortune like some other "fancy" restaurants in town. Cactus Creek is a ...

Better than the Biltmore
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/05
We drove for a half hour to Lake Tahoe for what we thought would be a special dinner. It was awful. So, the next night we drove for a half hour to the Bonanza Casino for what we KNEW would be a good meal. We were not disappointed. The food is excellent, the service incomparable, the atmosphere unique. Highly recommed the prime rib and macadamia encrusted halibut.
Went to the Bonanza's Cactus Creek on a whim, friends said it was great, they were right, what great steaks, wine at what seems like cost, friendly servers, The Chef even came out to make sure we were pleased with everything. Just like the old days except better!

This is our favorite restaurant in town! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the food is beyond compare. Definitely a hidden treasure! We go 2-3 times a month because the prices are so reasonable.
