I enjoyed watching these lions play with these crazy guys in the glass cage with them. They were playing ball and they pet them to sleep it was very sweet. Another good time in Vegas is pole lessons at Pole Worx. It is right off the strip it's private a loads of fun.
The best thing about the lion exhibit is the fact that you can actually walk under than lions and get a close view through the enclosure. Much closer than many zoos.

Don't worry -- lions live in an 8.5 acre preserve!
To the reviewer from March 2009, see the description of the lions on Vegas.com for more details on their daily lives. They're only in the MGM habitat for a few hrs a day and they rotate over 30 cats in the display. I can't wait to see them again this week and introduce my toddler to them for the first time. She loves cats, but she's never seen any THIS big!
I had no idea the lions were in the hotel. I had forgotten my camera the first day I saw the lions. I went back the next day to take pics of them for my kids. I was disappointed that there was only 1 shown the 2nd day. The 2 yr old lion made me laugh. He looked just like a kitten when the trainers played with him.

Lions were depressed and stressed.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/09
There was a large crowd of rude people flashing cameras into the eyes of a lioness. The enclosure was far too small and I left feeling that I wanted to cry. Please boycott MGM until they release these cats to a proper sanctuary.
Couldn't decide if this was our absolute fave hotel decor or not. We loved the rainforest & the lions...they looked like big sleepy kitty cats until feeding time about 8pm I think. Very nice & free show.
The lions were beautiful and huge. I was told that they were just babies. Man they were so big babies. I like everything. I got to take pics of them. No pushing was done. Everybody was nice.
The lion habitat was really awsome. you could actually walk underneath the lion when the lion is resting on the plexiglass. I would highly recomend this to people who are not exposed to the wildlife environment. Remember its free for the watching, I just wish they would allow people to go in for a fee, I would certainly be the first to do that.
The Lion Habitat is a great freebie for anyone passing by at the right time. Its not worth waiting in line, but if its not too crowded you can get some pretty good pictures.
